The basis of the KYRYS steel plate is the most modern, hardest, ultra-hard armor steel Armox® Advance in the thickness of 5 mm from the Swedish company SAAB. · The steel plate itself is covered with our PANCIR material, which is unique and is not used anywhere in the world. It is not plastic, silicone or rubber. It has high density, extensibility, flexibility, viscosity, and thanks to these properties, it can slow down projectiles and projectile fragments themselves, which remain inside the material during fragmentation. I dare to say that it is the best breakthrough combination in use on steel plates so far and it is not used anywhere else in the world.

The PANCIR auxiliary material itself has been tested for 7 years. We use it for the production of special 3D shooting targets, bullet catchers, covers in front of Hardox plates and we make special molds for Hardox targets from it. As a result, Hardox targets become much safer on shooting ranges, as PANCIR does not release projectile fragments further into space.

The Armox® material is ballistically certified by the manufacturer (SAAB) according to NATO EN1522 standards.

Armox® Advance in 5mm meets the resistance class NIIJ 0108.01 level III and NATO EN1522 FB 6. It is made so that it can withstand S&B 9x19 Luger FMJ 7.5 g S&B ammunition in 5mm. 7.62x39mm FMJ 8g. S&B 223 REM FMJ 3.6g . S&B 308 Win FMJ 11.7 ga special military ammunition caliber 223 - green tip M855 FMJ 62gr so-called (Green Tip Penetrator) see manufacturer's table. During testing, we also used military ammunition of caliber 7.62 x 54R, which is outside the manufacturer's ballistic class table, and the steel survived the test.
We are engaged in the production of special 3D shooting targets and we want to say that - We are not a registered seller of security material usable for defense and security purposes according to Act No. 229/2013 Coll. about the handling of safety material. We declare that this is neither safety material nor personal protective equipment.

This necessary fact has no influence at all on the fact that the Armox Advance material is certified by the Swedish manufacturer SSAB in accordance with Swedish legislation, according to the valid European standards NATO EN1522. And it is the best choice you can get in combination with our ARMOR.
